When did you join LFT?
I joined LFT in October 2021, as a thesis student and later I started working here in the early months of 2022.
What do you do at LFT?
I work as an Algorithm Development Engineer, wherein, I look after the tool used for validation of outputs generated by LiDAR perception.
What are you currently working on?
I recently took over the task of monitoring the clustering and classification of LiDAR data and I am excited to work on the upcoming tasks.
What is special about working for LFT?
So far, I have had the unique experience of working with both, camera and LiDAR perception at LFT. I believe this is a rare opportunity that many get to experience much later in their career.
What is your favorite thing about working at LFT?
It has to be the lovely people here and the seamless flow of knowledge throughout the company.
What do you like most about your job?
I appreciate the freedom given to me for using various approaches to handle a task which certainly broadens my scope of learning.
What do you like to do when you are not working?
Cooking, eating and sleeping take up most of my free time. Apart from that, planning a trip but not actually going anywhere is also a favourite task of mine.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I would like to learn kayaking but I don’t see myself doing that anytime soon.
What one food do you wish had zero calories?
Brownies.
What advice do you have for prospective LFT candidates?
Have a mentality to put in the work and learn new things to get the task done no matter the circumstances.
