When did you join LFT?
I joined LFT in June 2021.
What is your role as functional safety engineer at LFT?
As a functional safety engineer my mission is to ensure that vehicle electronic systems are developed to the appropriate safety integrity level. I am involved in the system level and software level development for safety critical systems.
What do you like most about your job?
My passion towards cars and my goals in the automotive industry makes me love my job. When it comes to safety it’s the utmost responsibility, I get to ensure the safety and reliability of an automobile.
What are 3 words you would use to describe LFT?
Creative / Innovative / Autonomous visionary.
What are you currently working on?
I am currently working in the development of safety for safe autonomous driving vehicles.
What is your favorite thing about working at LFT?
There are so many wonderful things about working at LFT. My favorite is probably the flexibility I have with my hours. I also love the company culture and enjoy working with everyone.
What is on your wish list for the next 10 years with LFT?
I wish that LFT would become a pioneer in autonomous driving technology and thrive through innovations for the future of mobility.
Where is the best place you have traveled to and why?
Prague (Czech Republic). I had a wonderful time with my friends and enjoyed the city of a Hundred Spires, it's known for its Old Town Square, the heart of its historic core with colorful baroque buildings, gothic churches and the medieval Astronomical Clock. I would definitely visit Prague again soon.
What do you like to do when you are not working?
I like exploring new places nearby Lake Constance (Bodensee), listening to music and driving.
What places have you lived in?
So far, I have lived in Stralsund, Schwedt, Hannover, Bonn and presently in Ravensburg.
