When did you join LFT?
I joined LFT in April 2022 as an intern, started my thesis in June. Now I have a full-time role at LFT.
How did you first learn about LFT?
I came to know about LFT through my friend, who is also an alumnus of the same university.
What do you do at LFT?
I am an algorithm engineer at LFT. I develop perception and sensor fusion algorithms to achieve level 4 autonomy in autonomous driving.
What are you currently working on?
I am currently developing sensor fusion algorithms to enhance perception and thereby improve the safety of automated vehicles in urban environments.
What is your favorite thing about working at LFT?
As a deep-tech company, LFT stands for innovative and comprehensive product development with a clear goal of making the very challenging task of autonomous driving as safe as aviation. Being a part of it and working on the solutions along with a highly qualified team is my favorite thing about working at LFT.
What are 3 words you would use to describe LFT?
Innovative, Dynamic and Agile.
If you could choose anyone in the world, who would you pick as your mentor?
I already have one. It is Dr. Thomas Münsterer, one of the best mentors.
What places have you lived in?
I am originally from India. Since I moved to Germany I have lived in Ilmenau, Stralsund, Ulm and now I am living in Markdorf.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
Solo skydiving. I am eagerly looking forward to getting a license. The experience of the exhilarating free fall, followed by a glide hanging from an open parachute and the adrenaline buzz thereafter is always fascinating.
What one food do you wish had zero calories?
Chicken Dum Biryani.
