LiDAR Engineering Service
LFT offers a ‘LiDAR Engineering Service’ for the design of LiDAR sensor technology such as LiDAR sensor design, LiDAR simulations, reduction of interference effects by optimizing the optical & electrical path, smart receiver management, etc.). In addition, filtering of artefacts and performance assurance of laser-based sensors, especially in challenging weather conditions.
Perception Validation
Perception validation is based on a holistic understanding of the multimodal sensor system, signal processing and fusion systems combining different data sources.
LFT provides expert solutions for performance simulation, qualitative and reproducible testing and data recording after V-model development, and expert validation of perception systems based on a realistic environment using selected scenarios of ODD (Operational Design Domain).
Reference System
The Reference System captures time-synchronized geo-referenced sensor data such as camera, LiDAR, radar and INS data under various environmental conditions. In addition, the system offers an excellent opportunity to test and compare different LiDAR sensors under different environmental conditions.
Safety and Risk Assessment Procedures (ISO26262 and ISO21448)
LFT masters the entire process chain of system and software safety engineering for the aerospace and automotive industries. LFT covers the entire process chain of system safety engineering, starting with the definition of the ‘Intended Function’, continuing with the ‘Functional Hazard Analysis’ (FHA) and ending with the safety concept and its system architecture.
